We had a 3 way tie for first place by the three S's.  Sam and Scott are from South River High School.  Sean is from Westminster High School.

The free Dominos pizza filled a need for food for the grads whose money is starting to run short. New free Play It Safe shirts are definitely in demand because the laundry bag is getting filled. On a cool and rainy day 5 Play It Safe 2007 High School Seniors did brave the weather and go down the water slide at 65th Street Slide & Ride. Many grads on hand thought they were crazy because it was so unseasonably cold but all agreed they deserved a prize which they did recieve.

Later in the evening around one hundred grads went to 61st. street O.C. Health & Racquetball Club for a serious game of Dodgeball, Swimming, and Workingout.

The Dodgeball games were very serious and sneaky trick plays were the norm. Like David from Old Mill High School shown here.> David kept getting accused by opponents as crossing the line as he threw the ball. So in a game where he was the lone survivor facing 6 for his team, it became intense. In the end, he faked like he was crossing the line and threw instead eliminating the last player to win! Others chose to play hide and seek with the ball.  The best players were  the sniper sharp shooters who dominated this game. Like Aaron from Oxon Hill High School>

Other grads chose to play Racquetball!

A crowd of hundreds of 2007 grads then headed to 33rd street Planet Maze for Laser Storm, Mini Golf, and Rock Climbing. The cool breeze didn't stop all the seniors from having great fun.

In this case, it was the arcade but some still played in the 30 minute deluge. The weather attempted to slow down our 2007 grads at Maui Golf 57th street for the Miniature Golf Tournament. Around 38 grads took shelter from the downpours and played through the deluge of water to finish the tourney.

In the end the grads would not be denied!

1st Place went to Dave M. Arundel HS, MD & 2nd Place - RJ - Downingtown HS, PA.

A crowd of hundreds gathered at 125th street  Ocean City Recreation & Parks Northside Park to watch 15 teams compete to win the ever popular "3on3" Basketball Tourney. The crowd was treated to some really talented hoopsters. Unlike previous weeks, the week three tourney featured only one champion. This was because there was time to bring the East gym finalists over to face West gym finalists! In the end the final game ended on a last shot that was waved off by an official in what many veteran volunteers said was the Best Play It Safe Championship Game ever played!

Like Phillip from Harnett, North Carolina, he is a HS wrestler and placed in the Championships.  However, since he isn't too tall, they finally found a place where he could slam dunk.

Later in the evening a group headed to Ocean City Health & Racquetball Club on 61st Street for a Workout , A swim, and some intense Dodgeball. The two final teams played a best of 7 and one team kept failing to get any of the balls at the start of each game. While the boys played dodgeball the girls went for a cool dip in the indoor pool.

Over a hundred ended the day at Planet Maze on 33rd Street for Laser Tag, Galaxy Mini Golf, and Rock Climbing. Many played more than once of each free event taking advantage of the small crowd.
